In the days before modern technology, Asstralia worked out fine as a penal colony. A convenient place for the civilized world to dump its human refuse. But that was before nuclear bombardment was a viable solution. With thousands of warheads just sitting idle, it seems a shame not to use them. Besides, we could film the bombardment from outer space and use the footage to make cool music videos for future generations to enjoy. Think of the children!
